As we discussed the strategic decision XYZ has taken to establish a lingerie plant is acceptable but the strategy they are going to use is cost leadership and the strategy is questionable as other countries produce Less than xyz And suggesting them to develop a new product with the support of development team. But xyz has already received two orders for the commodity product. It means they can initially start with basic product

Yes. They can start it as a commodity product and gain some experience. However whether they could earn profits in the long run is the question. There are low cost countries producing at a lower cost than SL.

Hence there should be some value addition offered to the brand (New design, smart garments, advance fabrics, innovative products)
